Upgrade Hosting
As we have done before, we regularly come up with a list of new things that we develop and implement. Therefore, we present you the following updates / changes that have been implemented lately.
Free Domain
Because we want to offer the best services on the market, both in terms of quality and financially, we have decided to include the free domain offer for the Personal Mini package. Therefore, the Personal Mini hosting plan will come with a free domain. This means that at a price of just 11.88€ + VAT / year you will benefit from hosting and domain.
The free domain is offered in the same conditions as in the other hosting packages, that is, only if the hosting package is purchased for 1 year. Under the conditions, the domain will only be free in the first year and only if it is registered or transferred with the hosting package.
SSL Certificates
Before, free SSL certificates were offered for all hosting packages or all domains hosted on Hostico servers, we offered Comodo Positive SSL certificates for Business, SEO, RS, and VPS packages, provided that they are activated for at least one year.
Given that we now offer free SSL certificates regardless of the bundled order or the selected payment period, we have made the decision to the SSL Comodo Positive free of charge offer. These can still be ordered but will not be offered for free.
Hosted domains
Because it has become normal for a person / company to own multiple domains and websites, we have decided to remove the limit on the number of additional domains that can be hosted on Business Packages. From now on, these packages will host a multitude of domains with distinct sites for various activities.
Storage Space
Since the need for storage increases as a result of the increase in online activity and the need to store everything oline, the storage space must also grow. So, Business and Reseller hosting packages will benefit for more space at the same price. Even if SEO Packages benefit from increased space, they will also have higher prices. New storage limits will not be applied retroactively. Customers who want to benefit for the new storage on Business and Reseller packages will have to pay a single charge of 5.00€ + VAT . SEO customers will have to switch to the new package tariff to benefit from the new storage space limit.
Web Hosting
Due to the needs of customers for the resources (RAM, CPU, I / O), the resources for all hosting packages have been increased. We are hoping that the applications that are installed on the hosting accounts will work faster and will be more stable. The difference between old and new resources can be seen in the following table. New resources have already been applied to all Hostico Shared hosting packages.
VPS Servers
As a result of the increase of the resources of Shared Packages, we considered that it is necessary to increase VPS resources so that the upgrading to a VPS will be differentiated by both the higher amount of resources offered and the quality of the service. New resources will only be applied to the new orders or for customers who will pay an upgrade fee of 10.00€ +VAT.
